Los Angeles County Election Propaganda

Client: Personal Project
Role: Concept Development, 3D, Graphic Design

I’ve always believed it’s important to love and engage with the place that I’m living and the health of cities has always been a major passion of mine, so I knew I wanted to get involved when a recent ballot measure in the city of LA threatened to make the city’s housing crisis even worse.

As a designer, it was great to be able to put my skills to a good cause, and I initially designed a poster for a “No on S” gallery put on by a group called de LaB at the A+D Museum in LA’s Arts District. I wanted the poster to capture a specific optimistic vision of LA, so I took the opportunity to brush up on my 3D skills and created a scene in Cinema 4D. The resulting poster was displayed in the gallery and was also printed flyer-size and given out to attendees to hang around the city.

From there, I created a family of social media artwork with various messages and shared them with others in the pro-development community. On election day, a bipartisan group of Angelenos came together and measure S was defeated.
